River Tees Rediscovered will give everyone a chance to explore and celebrate the River Tees, from Piercebridge just outside Darlington right through to Teesmouth and the coast.

Our Local Authority who own most of the land within the Heritage Park and support the concept.
Tees Valley Wildlife Trust
Owners of part of the park area, maintaining the habitat for the diverse wildlife along the Tees corridor.
Friends of Preston Park
A group formed to encourage and promote the protection, enhancement and use of Preston Hall and Park
Canal and River Trust
CRT operate the Tees Barrage and manage the upstream river.
River Users Group
RUG was set up by SBC to encourage the recreational use of the river Tees and surrounding landscape
Tees Barrage Upstream Sailing Association
TBUSA support and promote recreational sailing on the river between Stockton and Worsall. Members enjoy the quiet, calm of the river in beautiful surroundings on some days and the challenge of river sailing on blustery days.
Tees Wheelyboats Club
The Wheelyboat is specifically designed with easy acces for mobility impared folk to enable them to cruise on the river and enjoy the sensation of boating and the sight and sounds of this beautiful area.
